Introduction

"iMeWear" is an application launched by Shenzhen Mijiao Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "we," "iMeWear," or "Mijiao"), dedicated to providing you with high-quality fitness and health services. This Privacy Policy has been developed with your needs in mind. Please ensure you fully understand our personal information collection and usage practices.

To provide core services, we need to collect necessary personal information (age or date of birth, gender, height, weight, profile picture), including network information, location data, Bluetooth connection information, and fitness and health data. This information helps us provide you with accurate fitness data analysis and health recommendations.

Shenzhen Mijiao Technology Co., Ltd. attaches great importance to the security and privacy of users' personal information. We will strictly comply with relevant laws and regulations and industry safety standards, and implement comprehensive technical and management measures to ensure the security of your data.

Device Management

To facilitate your management of iMeWear devices (including smartwatches, ecosystem devices, and third-party devices), we collect the following information: device identifiers (MAC address, IMEI), hardware parameters, usage data, system information, and network status. This data will be used to establish Bluetooth connections, configure devices, push updates, display data sources, and maintain activation statistics, thereby continuously optimizing your user experience.

To provide you with the integration between your smart wearable device and your phone, we will sync your phone's calendar and basic system information with your wearable device. When connected to an iMeWear device via Bluetooth, we will obtain fitness data, device logs, location information, and device parameters. You can disconnect the Bluetooth connection or unbind the device at any time to stop data collection.

To improve data monitoring accuracy, the information you enter in the iMeWear app's [My] - [Personal Information], including your nickname, gender, birthday, height, and weight, will be synced to your connected smart wearable devices (such as wristbands and watches).

To support the calling function of wearable devices, some devices need to sync your phone's contacts and call logs to ensure that you can answer or make calls directly on the device.

When you connect an iMeWear device, iMeWear only provides a device upgrade channel. The firmware version is the responsibility of the device manufacturer. To count device activations and analyze device issues, we collect device identification and usage information. For details, please refer to the User Agreement and Privacy Statement.

When third-party apps interact with your smart wearable device through iMeWear, they can obtain the device's random identifier (which can be reset and is unique to each app), device name, hardware parameters, and usage status (such as charging, in use), and push notifications. With your explicit authorization, third-party apps may also access sensor data (such as activity type, sleep status), device wear status, device logs, and location information.

When you use the weather forecast feature on your wearable device, we will provide your location information to the weather service provider to provide you with local weather information. You can disable this feature and stop sharing location information at any time in the device management section of the app.

If you use the location-based features, the location SDK we use requires you to enable device location permissions and collects the following information: device location information (including latitude and longitude, precise location, and coarse location, which will be obtained through IP address, GNSS information, WiFi status, WiFi parameters, WiFi list, SSID, BSSID, base station information, signal strength information, Bluetooth information, sensor information (vector, acceleration, pressure, direction, geomagnetic), device signal strength information, and external storage directory); device identification information (IMEI, IDFA, IDFV, Android ID, MEID, MAC address, OAID, IMSI, ICCID, hardware serial number); current application information (application name, application version number); device parameters and system information (system properties, device model, operating system, and carrier information).

During your use of the service, we will automatically record the following network log information: telecom operator, network environment, language used, access time, and operation history (such as page dwell time, page refresh operations, etc.). This information will be used for service optimization and security.

Data management

Management of personal information

To optimize the analysis of sports data, we need to obtain basic information such as your gender, age, height, weight, etc. (you can change it at any time through the "My > Personal Information" path. Failure to provide this data may affect the accuracy of motion-related calculations, but it will not prevent you from using the basic functions of your device normally.

Sports data management

In order to more accurately record and analyze your exercise, we will collect the following sports-related data: exercise type (such as walking, running, mountaineering, etc.), exercise trajectory, exercise duration, number of steps, exercise distance, calorie consumption, climbing altitude and exercise speed, etc. This data will be used to generate accurate sports statistics reports for you and provide personalized sports services. You can view or manage the above exercise information at any time in the APP.

The outdoor sports track recording function of this service is provided by "iMeWear" and is based on Google Maps. When using this function, the system will collect your location information to complete the motion trajectory drawing; Google Maps may also need to obtain your device identifier and network information. The collection and processing of such data will be strictly in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy, which is recommended to be read carefully before use.

User Feedback

You can submit issues or suggestions encountered during use through the "Feedback" feature within the app. To help us accurately track issues, provide timely feedback, and efficiently resolve them, the system will obtain your device's ANDROID_ID as a user identifier. We will strictly protect the security of your personal information. This identification information will only be used to communicate with you about your feedback and address your submitted issues, and will not be used for any other unrelated purposes.

User Experience Improvement Services

If you encounter issues during use, you can submit feedback through the "Feedback" feature within the app (please provide a description of the issue and your contact information for follow-up communication). To more efficiently identify and resolve issues, the system will collect the following information: device identifiers, hardware parameters, system logs, and process data.

We promise that the collected data will only be used for problem diagnosis and analysis. It will be automatically deleted within the specified timeframe after the issue is resolved and will not be used for any other unrelated purposes. If you choose not to provide this information, the efficiency of problem troubleshooting and resolution may be reduced, but it will not affect the normal use of the app or other device features.

Device Permissions

Auto-start Permission: This app has an auto-start feature, the core purpose of which is to ensure stable reception and timely response of motion data from Bluetooth devices. To ensure that the app can receive data normally even when closed or running in the background, the system will send broadcasts at a reasonable frequency to wake the app—this auto-start mechanism is a fundamental design requirement for implementing Bluetooth features and services. When triggered by a system broadcast, the app will quickly resume operation through auto-start, maintaining the continuity and stability of Bluetooth data transmission and ensuring timely response to Android devices.

Storage Permission: When using features such as sharing, vibration pedometer, or account login, you can optionally enable these permissions to allow the app to read or write the following information: app usage history, images, videos, and intermediate step count data. If you no longer need these services, you can disable these permissions at any time without affecting the normal operation of other features.

Camera Permission: When you connect to a device by scanning a QR code, we will request this permission if you need to take a picture to complete pairing. You can disable this permission at any time without affecting the normal operation of other features.

Location Permission: When you use features like single-session track mapping, Bluetooth pairing, or location search, you can enable this permission if you need to access your current location. You can disable this permission at any time without affecting other features.

Bluetooth Usage Permission: Bluetooth permission is used to access data such as device battery life, step count, and heart rate. It is a core permission required to synchronize data and integrate features between your wearable device and phone.

Network Permission: Network permission is used for basic services such as watch face resource downloads, app issue feedback, log reporting, version update detection, account authorization and activation, and login verification to ensure the proper functioning of the app's core functions.

Access to Device Information Status: This permission verifies user device information to adapt to different device models, ensure feature compatibility, and ensure stable app operation on your device.

Contacts Permission: When you sync your contacts from your wearable device to your watch, the watch will automatically display the contact's name when a call comes in, enhancing call interaction convenience. If you need to disable this feature, you can disable the relevant permissions at any time without affecting the normal use of other services.

Physical Activity Permission: When you monitor your activity independently on your phone, you must enable this permission to enable step tracking. If you disable this permission, your phone will not be able to access your step data, which may affect the use of the mobile app's activity statistics.

Manage Your Data

To protect your personal information rights in the "iMeWear" app, we've integrated the following data management permissions into the product: You can easily access, correct, or delete your personal information, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. Accessing Personal Information

After installing and logging into the "iMeWear" app, your personal information stored in the cloud will automatically sync to your device. You can view real-time health and fitness metrics, including steps, sleep, heart rate, blood oxygen level, and blood pressure, on the fitness data card. You can also check the sync status of connected wearable devices on the device page. On the "My" page, you can view your profile picture, basic information (including nickname, gender, date of birth, height, and weight), and fitness settings.

Update Personal Information

You can update your profile picture and personal information (including nickname, gender, date of birth, height, and weight) on the "My" page. Please note: Data automatically collected and synchronized via smart wearable devices (such as physiological indicators) cannot be manually edited at this time.

Data Storage and Protection

Your personal information will be transmitted and stored in an encrypted manner on the Mijiao server cluster in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China. We strictly adhere to relevant national laws and regulations and cross-border data security standards to ensure that your data security and privacy rights are fully protected.

In the process of personal information management, we strictly adhere to the "minimum necessary" principle: data will be retained only for the period necessary to achieve the service purposes described in this privacy statement. After the retention period expires, the data will be deleted or anonymized according to data classification and grading standards, unless the retention period is extended by relevant laws and regulations.

To ensure data security, your personal information and fitness data will be securely linked to your smart wearable device through a unique device identifier. All data transmission utilizes secure encryption technology and is stored on the "iMeWear" dedicated cloud server cluster, which has passed the National Information Security Level Protection Certification.

For questionnaire information collected through surveys and device information obtained through upgrade services, we adhere to the "minimum necessary" principle of storage: six months from the date of collection. If you voluntarily cancel your account, we will immediately initiate a secure deletion mechanism and completely delete all associated data in accordance with national cybersecurity regulations.

For user experience improvement services, we only collect necessary personal information for statistical analysis and product optimization. This data is strictly retained for six months from the date of collection, following the "minimum necessary" principle. After the expiration of this period, it will be securely deleted or anonymized according to data classification and grading standards.

For problem and suggestion feedback services, we implement categorized and graded storage management: system operation logs are stored on a dedicated file log server for seven calendar days. Structured data, such as user-submitted problem descriptions and suggestions, is securely stored for 24 months, based on the "necessary period for service improvement." After the expiration of this period, the data will be securely deleted or anonymized in accordance with national cybersecurity regulations and our privacy policy.

Parents or guardians should take necessary measures to fulfill their guardianship responsibilities, including supervising minors' appropriate use of apps, managing usage time, and the scope of content access.
